Did anyone actually realize you should read the entire description before posting? The engine may be perfectly fine, I have never tried to start it. It comes with a spare engine reguardless. The engine in it could be perfectly fine and just sell the other, or it could be blown. A $350 bill to install the spare engine probably isnt a factor to someone who is looking at a car that cost over $30,000 to build.

and honestly...all bullshit aside...the first thing you do is try to start a car you just got...you check oil/water and shit and crank the bitch over...

all the people that say....oh it probably runs...i just havent tried it are full of shit....

the guy is probably right....it probably does have a blown motor...

and before the op gets his panties in a bunch...

go out to the car and insert the key in the ignition and turn it and let us know what happens....

caus id be honest...if i was going to buy it i damn sure would get in and turn the key and attempt to start it...before i handed over any money....if you wouldnt let me that just means your hiding something and i would take my money elsewhere

The guy who built the car was an autobody guy(the actual owner). He said he just had the oil changed and it was leaking oil after a few miles. He parked it and did not try to start it again. When I purchased the car I had NO intentions of EVER driving it with the current engine so the engine was the very least of my concerns.

I had NO intentions to ever drive the car with its current engine so no I have NEVER turned the key forward(battery is dead anyway).
And get it strait, I never said the damn thing probably runs I have no clue, nor do I care. I priced it assuming worst case the engine is blown. Dont judge me saying that that what I am saying is not the damn truth. I buy/sell over a hundred grand(not to mention all the parts I give away) on the internet EVERY year and have a STELLAR reputation. So perhaps that is the case with most, but not me and I would appreciate it you wouldnt make ASSumptions over someones character if you dont know the man behind the other screen.
Perhaps it does have a blown engine, honestly I would prefer if it is to get the current owner to do an engine swap before driving it like it is.
And perhaps if you lose the snide remarks I wouldnt get my panties in a bunch.
The reason I am not going out right now and starting the car is if I turn the key, and it starts, Im driving the motherfucker down the road and will not be selling it. I have enough projects going now to not need another.

If whoever buys it tries to start it and it fires up and runs a hundred thousand miles and they are happy that its not blown, great! Im not advertising this car as a daily driver, get it and go car. What the hell would you do if you went to buy a project car with no engine in it? Would you carry your money elsewhere since it wouldnt start? Truth be told, the car is probably in tons better shape than most on here, Im just very descriptive on EVERYTHING I sell and try to hide nothing. However, dont think for one second that if I went out, started it up and drove it around town that when the time came to sell it as a KNOWN GOOD RUNNING CAR I would be glad to have the car carried to a shop and checked out for the buyer. Its a fucking project car man...

Or how about this, to make some here happy I AM NOW SELLING THE CAR WITH A BLOWN ENGINE, AND COMES WITH A SPARE ENGINE. Make ya feel better? Hope someone gets it, turns the key and drive it for years and gets a free engine. Better?

BTW, edited my first post selling it as a blown engine. Hope the buyer gets in and starts it up and drives it for the next 10 years as is, sells the spare engine for a grand and gets laid in it daily. Happy? Now that I am selling it with a blown engine does that make me not "full of shit"?
I am also uploading new pictures I took today of it.

^ Too many words.

Nice car. I wouldn't buy it, but nice conversion none the less.
