Re: Audiophile question (subwoofer related)
yea i know i really really really wanted to avoid a traditional sub.
but ive come to the conclusion that with the limited space of a prelude, thier isnt much you can do.
and considering i got my hands on two p1's yesterday, i think ill just fiberglass me a box on the corner of the trunk.

please please please whatever you do, do not create a fiberglass box like the one on that writeup, that is the most space wasting piece of crap.
A fiber box will allow you to use the space to your advantage, but please form it properly to the walls. I've made dozens of fiber boxes over the years!

I would say that the last two would be your best bet. sealed enclosures will give you less overall bass output, but it will be much clearer, perfect for your little car.

haha I seen it, not many people have recommended it though. Alot of people told me it sucks.
I think I finally decided what im going to do. Im going with a 12", considering my boy gave me two rockford fosgate p1's yesterday for free and following this writeup to enclose them in a corner of my trunk, still having room for the esp stb.
