AIK in Virginia Beach
As for the HQ building, it is being torn down i believe, along with all those other shit hole buildings on that side and town center will continue growing that way
*edit*: bwell beat me to it lol. that HQ building is a piece of shit anyway. it would be a electrical nightmare for anyone trying to make something in there judging by what we found when we were in there shooting lol

The old hq is going to be torn down in 1 year. They will then be building more work places/skyscrapers (if thats what you want to call them.) Trust me, my company was going to buy it but wasnt aloud to. Plus, HQ has no AC or anything. Its a god damn sauna in that thing.

Why the move?
I know I'm not like the rest of ya'll but when I do actually go to AIK, I'm not trying to drive 45 mins to get to it. Plus, why downsize? Do ya'll want to get a better crowd of people?

Lease on an 80,000 sq ft building isn't cheap, even in the poorest of the 7 cities. Ptown is run down, desolate city with no other attractions and is far from tourists and the majority of our regular members and vb/ches. was the preferred location all along.
There was some talk long ago about a peninsula track as well, but talk has gone quiet for that recently.
My understanding is that the city either owns that property or already have plans for what they do (and subsequently don't) want developed in that area, and indoor karting was in the don't category. Property is also priced thru the roof as a result of the town centers current devolpment, making it not viable
