Hopefully that new oil pan will do the job... VW's oil pans sit so low, I remember my friend hitting a raised manhole and ripping not only the oil pan up, but part of the block off.

You do realize many of them sit level with the "frame rails" (whatever they are really called). I know my URAS did on my S13. It just made the car look as low as it really was.
