And for the record a '93 Cobra intake flows less than a GT40 and less then the others you mentioned. So yes, you have a point...but saying a 302 is a flow restricted motor was just confusing to me.

Ported Cobra intakes can flow plenty of cfm, enough to make good power on a 302ci bottom end. If its stroked, then the intake is probably choking the motor, but there's no reason that motor cant make 300whp on a non stroked bottom end if it was built right.

I wasnt implying that the 5.0 motor in general was a flow restricted engine. Just from the heads up from the factory it was.

Well, if we are talking about flow in general then we'd have to talk about the heads and up because unless you're doing it wrong, the pistons shouldn't "flow" anything past them. Even though I see many that do. But, yes the stock shit sucks. All stock shit sucks, thats why its stock. Thats why it has a huge aftermarket following to help it suck less...and flow more. HAY OH!! rip.
