Accessing the connector is usually pretty straightforward, but I have no idea what it's like in your car. Don't be afraid though, this whole process will probably be one of the easier repairs you've done to your car.

Re: ep3 check enginie light
my ep3 does the same thing. the CEL went on, i got autozone to check it, "bank 1, sensor 1 malfunction"
the light stays on 90% of the time
sometimes it goes off on its own, noticably when i fill up with some good gas.
but mostly ALWAYS goes off if i'm driving in the rain....
i been wantin to swap out my o2 sensor to get my better mpg's back, BUT i have a rsx-s midpipe installed, which is where i'm guessing the sensor is, and idk if i need to get an ep3 sensor or a rsx-s sensor...
help is needed. thanks

Re: ep3 check enginie light
I have a EP, first thing I would recheck the connection to the primary. Make sure all the wires are in the harness connectors fully. Also check the wires running up the firewall. Theres a little plate looking thing the wires connect to, id say check them there aswell. Also check and make sure there sealing right. May need to clean them. ANother thing you can check is the AMP fuse under the dash. I think its fuse #14.
To get rid of the CEL, just pull the ECU fuse under the hood for about 30 seconds, I cant remember the number, but its a 20 amp fuse.
