Not if you put too many miles on a car for the lease or like to modify your dailys. FTR, I pay all my cars off before I trade them in on anything or I just run them into the ground.

 

Hell, you dont even have to get a C6z. A base model C6 with mods is a badass platform to start off with. Screw that 370z nonsense.

 

Yep.... and you can get them in the 20's now.

 

for $50,000, you can get a beautiful 2006 Viper SRT coupe, or hell even a GTS, which is 100,000 times more exotic than any of the other cars in this price range, rarer, and, need I even start on performance ?

$50k is a lot of coin for a used Dodge w/o a warranty Parts sure ain't cheap for those. Plus DDing a Viper just plain sucks.

 

Keep the Z06.

 

Get a used C6.

 

Yeah... I'd say the same thing. More debt in this economy is a horrible idea. If you're in a position to buy w/ mostly cash it's a great time to get a car, but seeing as you'll have to dump your Z06 and area currently upside down on it you'd be incurring a bunch more car debt.

 

I don't know any Viper owners who daily drive their cars. I drive mine once a week tops.


I wouldn't even drive a corvette every day, it kills the pleasure. It feels 10 times better when you drive your POS everyday to work, school, etc, and then take your nice car out strictly for fun, hangin' with friends, date, whatever.
