A few questions about my Blazer.
Ok, first of all, the transmission (automatic) sometimes takes longer than it should to change gears, and also sometimes gets stuck when at a stop. As in if I take my foot off the brake, it will just stay put, and if I give it some gas, I can feel it pop into gear. Is this just the whole transmission going bad, or is there something else that I can do?
Another problem is when I'm kinda low gas (anywhere quarter tank and below) and I stop anywhere near quickly, the car will shut off. I figure its probably because the gas in the tank is moving forward, and the sensors aren't sensing any gas, so the truck turns off. What part would need replacing?
EDIT: more questions
My 2hi light doesn't come on. Is this a problem?
Also, when I turn on the ac, after a few minutes there's a really loud and obnoxious screeching sound. Any input on what that might be?
Thanks.

Re: A few questions about my Blazer.
Sounds like bad tranny, maybe try flushing the atf..?
And if the engines cutting off at quick stops, i'd jump to say check your roller mounts. But that doesnt expain why it only happens at low gas levels, still I would check the mounts

You could always pull the valve body and clean it, like because of a sticking valve, or a simple flushing. Your fluid still red?
Sounds like your fuel is sloshing away from the pickup. Maybe a baffle is stuck open? That would include dropping the tank to check I believe (FUN)

Kinda really wanna know about some of these things.
Especially the AC. I think it might be some sort of belt.

Sounds like you are low on tranny fluid, bad ac belt would cause the screech. As far as the gas thing, I'm not really sure. It could be that the pump isn't pulling any fuel causing a stall.
