Default local emissions testing?

I've got my mom's old car as my beater for a few more weeks, but the emissions is due sooner than I was planning on taking it back to her in MD. I'm trying to avoid 320 miles of needless driving in a beater SUV with a broken A/C. MD tells me that if I get the emissions tested here I can send them the results. Is there any place locally that can check the HC, NOx, and CO readings? I'm in Williamsburg.

Not that I'm aware of... There aren't any emission test requirements to test for down here... The closest you are going to get it is Northern Virginia, still better than 350 miles round trip.

it would be easier to re-registering it with your Williamsburg address on file. This way you can avoid emissions testing. If that is not possible, your going to need to drive 200 miles up to the 703 area like what NeverEnough said.

Well, it's not my car, I'm just borrowing it and it's going back in a few weeks, so no sense in re-registering.
