not a warranty voider (if it still was covered)... main reason... the dampener makes the car drivable in traffic... as 1st gear has virtually no decel.... just bucks... the ecu reflash and injectors on its own more or less takes care of it (stage 1 or 2)... it just makes the car much more enjoyable..... not a hard-core racing machine, but 2 quick fixes that correct a good 80-90% of the issues the car has. Its the same advice I give anyone who gets one and anyone I sold one to, back in the days I was still doing that.
as to why do anything for a daily, why use premium fuel? the stock supercharged ss could use 87 just fine (GM warns 91 minimum after adding a factory stage kit). If you plan on spending more than a day a month in it, why punish yourself or your car?
