AIK VA Beach and VA Driven
American Indoor Karting would love to continue to maintain the patronage of the VA Driven members. As mentioned in previous posts, we will no longer hold the $10 Race nights at our new location. This incentive for the old location was to entice people to make the hike out to Portsmouth and was great when we would get large groups of you guys in on those nights.
For the new location we are willing to come up with something that will still let you guys race at discounted prices.
Here is what we can do:
VA Driven Tuesday Night Cruise Ins, which we will hold every other week(pending availability). We will give you guys a track rental price of $600 per hour. This is $250 off of the standand track rental price, and the more people that come, the cheaper the racing becomes per person. With this price we will supply you with pizza and the use of our corporate event room. We can run 6 heats in an hour, with 10 on the track at a time. If you get 30 people its only $20 per person for 2 races, pizza, and the track to yourself.
These meets will have to be confirmed a week in advance so that we can properly notify our customers of track closings.

thats a really good deal. I think we could manage to get 30 people out there. just have to count on the well known members and not the newbs or the notorious douches.
Now that you are closer, the $10 special would only make more people that live on this side of the water want to come out more often then before IMHO. Also the track size was cut in half, if not 1/3 (supertrack nights), so its hard to justify spending more money to run a smaller, less technical, track. Trying to get 30 people to organize and come out from the forum might work well for 2 or 3 times, but the way this place goes that organization would die quickly. When I would come out, I would bring atleast 4 others, and most of them dont post on here regularly. So you cant really base things upon who posts in these threads, alot of us round up other people that aren't on here all the time. Maybe there's some business aspect of why you cant run the special anymore that we aren't seeing, but I really don't see how it would be any different then before. Like i said, I would be out twice as often because you guys are now 5 mins from my house, vs. 20 mins. Not trying to beat a dead horse, but damn it was a hell of alot more simple before.
