Yeah there are people on this forum who build drift cars and don't drift nearly as much as you. I wouldn't worry about them to much.

 

So how is this series ran. I see some very badass people on there, but they are ranked very low.

solo runs, you need a cage to tandem



pretty much, each event is..

1st 100 points
2nd 95
3rd 90
4th 85
5th 80
6th 75
7th 70
8th 65
9th 60
10th 59
11th 58
12th 57
13th 56
14th 55


etc. etc, then tallied up. if you miss a event, which ive missed 3. then you get a 0


theres like 10-12 events or so a year

You've tried shit that no one else will do simply b/c they're fanboys... They're just mad b/c your killin the shit w/ the car and on the track... Fuck em...

 

You are definitely wildin' out with the S12. I wish I lived closer to Summit so I could go there every month or so. Driftwater is definitely awesome, but there are like 5 different tracks/track sections to try at Summit. The good thing about Driftwater is you can connect the whole track and keep going round and round, haha. I do miss Summit though, I haven't been in the kouki .

Calm down, calm down... All I was referring to was his home made type stuff... All I see anymore is people just doin bolt on applications in their cars... Hardly anyone takes the time to actually make or modify stuff... Building cars isn't as fun as it used to be... Now it seems if you don't buy the most expensive shit on the market, your car is complete garbage... The mentality of the WHOLE car/truck/hot rod etc scene has gone completely down hill... And the negativety from it kills me... I understand that in this scene that you're going to be critqued (sp? gettin tired) on your car... But to the extent people go to tell you your car is dook is beyond me... B/c if you're one step out from the current trend or what everyone else is into, your shit is junk... I'm not ranting, I'm just simply stating how I see it...

I got ya, I wasn't sure where the comment directly came from - it makes sense meow.

 

Oh I know I drive a shitbox... Trust me, I know more than anyone... I need so much shit on my car its unreal... I've just been building cars a different way for so long that I'm stuck in this mindset... I try to mix several different genres of car building into my cars/trucks b/c theres so much that appeals to me... I can't just build a Honda and go straight JDM or which ever way the wind blows at the time... I can't build a mini truck and body my shit to the doors on 24s... I can't build a rat rod w/ a s/c'd 350 chopped and sectioned to hell... I have a tendency to build love it or hate it rides... And I venture to say with the current direction and look I have in my head for my EK, its going the same way...

 

Your car has alot of work in it man. i had to roll my fenders on my truck again cuz i lowered it some more haha
