somebody is gonna have to fill me in on what the legend actually is. I've lived in woodbridge on and off throughout my life and have definitely heard of the bunny man bridge - something about a bridge where people used to find gutted bunnies or something hanging from it? remind me please...

I've heard that Woodbridge area has some pretty eerie places too, a couple of supposedly haunted old prisons or something? I could be wrong.

The lorton prison used to be pretty creepy. They've changed it into an arts center in the last few years. Jowan and i were just up there this past week taking photos for a design project i'm doing for a local rapper. I could definitely see that prison being a destination for halloweeners over the years following its closing. Other than that I can think of anywhere near me.

The scariest place I've ever been is a very old, abandoned house that my land surveying crew and I found about five years ago. We were supposed to be doing a house location survey, but instead spent most of the day trying to locate a missing well. I ended up walking into the house with a coworker. Upstairs in a back bedroom we found the following things:

1.) A blood COVERED mattress on the floor with a head sized hole in the middle of the massive blood stain.

2.) One shotgun shell casing

3.) One half of a bullet proof vest (just the back portion) covered in blood.

4.) A shotgun blast's hole in the wall above the bed.

5.) An inch wide, fifty foot long trail of blood leading from the mattress, out the bedroom, down the stairs, into the kitchen, and into a blood soaked sink.

The blood was very old and brown. It was terrifying. Then we went back to work and tried not to talk about it lol.

 

There's some B&B places out in Gettysburg or WV that are super haunted. Would definitely recommend staying there sometime if you really enjoy that kind of thing.

 

just go to Pennsylvania...there's that abandoned asylum where the dude went back and supposedly is still there or the abandoned coal mining town that Silent Hill was based off of...that place is actually pretty cool.

 

 

oh god damn it!! i scrolled down and that being the first thing i saw...scared the shit out of me man. The ONLY time ive seen that movie i was 5 or 6....and ill never see it again, or get near clowns, or near sewers, or clowns in sewers.....mainly because they don't belong there!
