I keep trying to get my good friend to lower his '01 Trans Am, but he refuses to do so b/c of how low his headers hang (SLP long tubes). He agrees that it sits funky high, but he doesn't want to lower it because for now, its his one and only car, and he currently lives in King George off of crazy back roads.
That's another reason. It's just a different type of person that own the car for the most part. It's no surprise that there aren't a lot of them really low to the ground since most guys drag race them even though when set-up right they're great road course cars.
If I bought another one it'd probably be around the same height as the red one I posted and I would most likely put mid-length headers and a catback instead of the LTs and true duals I had on my last car (shitty clearance).
