so i can just bolt that one where mine is now ? and that will give me the sound like a si when the vtec kicks in
and i will be the only person to give you a straight forward answer...
here it is..
to get that type of pop, your going to need some serious head work.
(i.e. - springs, valves, retainers....)
your going to need to get those to support the HELLACIOUS grind of the cam. You would need probably ITB's and a straight through exhaust to get anywhere near the "pop" of like a type r or something.
your not going to be able to get it without dumping $5000+

/being fer seriously.
that is what i mean.
Single cams are a waste of money for the power you get, or rather, the power you don't get. That thing still ticked and sounded like ass just like every D does. Kid, buy yourself an SI and put a straightpipe on and it'll "pop."
I hope dude. Muffler bearing cases are hard to crack open.
And $100 is cheap bro, swapping vtec solenoids isn't easy, those kinepitty pins are a bitch...you should charge more.
Everytime I've had to change a VTEC solenoid, I've had to take out the transmission and take off the flywheel and it's right behind the rear main seal.
I take that back... ONE time I saw one on the back, left side of the head. :P
