I figured I would ask some of you bike gurus since im still new to two wheels. I have a 09 250R that i have had for a year and my wife wants to pick up riding so im giving it to her. So, that being said i have a friend who is going to sell me his 2005 Honda CBR600RR for 4,000 with a little over 8k does this sound like a deal? He gave me the VIN to run and bike has never been put down, and title is clear. Should i jump on this or keep looking? Thanks for the help.

Sounds good. But its impossible to tell without seeing. Keep in mind it is winter though, bikes don't sell for too much when its cold out here.

 

Sounds like a good deal, I'd hop on if I were you and I was into CBR's... obviously you said you've already had/riden a bike. Have you test riden it or anything to make sure it feels fine any everything? Also, you said he was a friend... is your FRIEND gonna do you dirty like that?

 

most shops will do a pre purchase inspection before you buy for like 50.00 well worth it if u ask me

 

Yea he is a friend i dont think he will do me dirty. I work with him but we shall see. He has given me the reciepts of work done and the VIN number. I am going to check it out on Sunday. thanks for the advice everyone
