Real vs. Fake
You don't surprise me at the least that you're coming off as an idiot, any of my previous assumptions about you were correct, YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING.
Here's another thread, aside from the lack of iForged/HRE respect, members on this site track their car and obviously attest to wheels being put to more stress on the track.

It's simple logic but maybe not simple enough for you to understand.

its actually quite valid. how can you stand up for something you've never seen or experienced. nor do you have any actual proof to validate your point. the only real difference in these wheels is weight and if its forged or not - and thats a BIG if.
sure you could go and post the picture that spread throughout the internet of a rota snapping, but we don't know the actual circumstances under which it broke, unless you can find the story to prove that it was due to poor quality then post it up.
also, if it passes D.O.T. regulations HOW is it ANY different from any other then just a name.
give this a read aswell:
(explains how your wrong)
-also explains how any wheel imported must have a stamp PROVING it was tested to strict Japanese wheel standards.

And you can go on and on about safety standards. They don't call them standards for nothing. The non-crap wheel companies like to go beyond the minimum.
Despite that, the term "JWL" doesn't appear on Rota's site at all.
The funny thing is I knew you were going to go down this road and I called it. And you're doing it anyway. It's like you think you're the first one to bring this groundbreaking info to light.
You COULD just save us some time and just stop. I'll be two steps ahead of you until the end of this argument. But you won't. And I just called it again.
Everybody else: Watch this.

I know drinking a cup of boiling water is going to burn my throat. Just because YOU might need to burn your throat to learn doesn't mean I have to.

So what advantage will I have running authentic BBS wheels over replicas on my street car?
A safety stamp and quality control, okay, sure, obviously the quality control is enough that large quantities of wheels aren't failing.
How's this, when my replica fails out of the blue and not because of some swimming pool pot-hole then I'll change my statements.
Pouting about this thread continuing to grow isn't going to change anything.
heres konig:
"NEWEST DESIGN BY JLB MOTORSPORTS:
We commissioned Konig's state of the art factory to make this brand new wheel design for us. Konig factories use only the highest quality virgin alloy (no recycled alloy). The wheels are JWL / VIA / SAE and DOT approved for safety, rigidity and quality assurance."
