Does anyone know of any 3 gun events that take place anywhere close by? I found a place in NC but it is a small drive.

There's nothing close. There might be something in the western end of the state, but IIRC the one in NC is the closest (I don't do it, so I forget where in NC it is, but someone was telling me about this).

lafayette gun club in yorktown has alot of shooting events check with them or look into the nra magazine the list alot of events in there

??? No we don't. There's high power and bullseye and olympic pistol and small-bore, but definitely not a lot of shooting events. There's also practical handgun indoors on the 2nd Sunday of the month. This may change in the future, but the gears of progress turn slowly.
