hey wassup people, i just got here in va. and as soon as i got here, tried to race a z28 and as soon as i hit my nitrous switch, my tranny went.
i own a 2k hyundai tiburon and im looking for a custom shop to help me swap in a 6-speed. please a reputable shop with a good track record. thanks in advance guys!

Go to tuners Edge.There the shit.They will take really good care of ya.I have had my car in there a few times.They have really good prices and know there shit.I would ive you the number but I cant find the card they gave me.I hope someone else gots it.I would try them

i talked to tibnrice..we're on the same hyundai forum. he's the one who told me to post here.
eh, i know hyundai's don't have the best rep, but the lil engine can do wonders. i accidentally left the jets out once and hit the nitrous. i was going maybe 40 and as soon as i hit it, man was i flying! but the lil engine never gave up. i like our strong iron blocks. =D

i talked to a guy named chuck at..abacus. i also called millenium, but i really like chuck because of the way he laid out the plans of what we were gonna do. he gave me the impression that he was really gonna take good care of me. he was surprised that i am the only person in the u.s. to do this conversion. i guess it could be an added bullit to his resume when he gets done lol.

Hyundai for LIFE!....it is a nice little engine..good luck with the 6spd conversion...let me know the final cost #'s...sounds interesting.

 

I've worked with both Abacus and Millennium... Both major jobs... I'd say Abacus. Chuck is cool as hell and I know he will do a good job. They will be doing my tranny soon as well..
