What do you think about making the auto v8s run on 17s?

That sounds more fair as long as they don't come with some ridiculously wide tires. I know I can pull mid 1.8's on my radials also and hopefully get a retune soon and can still pull those numbers. And do the tires have to be belted sidewall tires and none of the cheeter slicks that are "dot" but the are really wrinkle walls with grooves cut in them. I would say specify brands like MT et street's, BFG, NITTO, things like that.

I agree, There wont be any of that stuff allowed. No bias ply tires, it will have to be radials only.

Hell, I think a lot of us run just as good on the MT ET Radials as we do on slicks!! I know I've had good luck with em'.... And they even make them in import sizes...... just sayin....

Yes RWD cars do run very well with those tires. And they do but they aren't the same tire

unless its the 235-60-15 and then you will most likely have to cut your fenders and bumper up to

fit them. Most Honda guys have to use BFG's or do as I stated above.

i will be busy april 16 weekend.

outside of that i'm game.

ill be on a 295/17" rim.

i'm terrible on a pro tree, so it will be like i will spot everyone time right out of the gate.. that should make it fair.

shit could happen of course.. engine/trans are out and im not sure the new turbo will fit yet but this is a ways off.
