(local) Import vs Domestic race
It's obvious that's the only way any imports are gonna come.
WHatever, if you meet us for the cruise to the track and and race like you drove on the cruise, so be it, but don't try changing anything, or addding any special fuel when we get to the track, your tank should hold enough to get there and race on a fill up.
That's fine with me. I feel like we are on an episode of PINKS.

Even a tire change I don't consider too huge a deal. I run a DOT legal tire, so switching between 2 sets of DOT legal tires I don't see being a huge deal. I drive wherever on my hoosiers, but I try to only go on roads that I know because road conditions suck some places and there are some pretty brutal pot-holes I don't want them seeing. I swap on radials if I'm going somewhere I'm unfamiliar with. If I could race the car on a full radial I would, but I need the bias ply as cheap insurance against breakage.
I'm out if there's a prohibition on race fuel... As I said... It will be 93 in the tank... Just adding some extra octane in the n2o kit...
I'll fill the tank wherever you guys want.

I am not friends with mm, We know each other and talked a few times. that is about it.
One other thing, is I think it would only be fair to make the cruise start from the track, and go somewhere and back, rather than starting at the beach. Not really fair for some of us who live to the north.
Too many people trying to call E85 like it's a race fuel, when it's not. Need to decide on a few things. Either choose fuel based on content (i.e. no lead, max octane, max. allowed ethanol content) or choose pump gas only which would include E85, or run whatever fuel ya brung as long as you aren't filling up every 10 minutes.
no, it is NOT a race fuel. Availabilty does not change what it is. A rare baseball card is still a baseball card right? It is a DOT legal fuel that is legal to be pumped into a vehicle at a public gas station directly from a tank. That is what separates race fuel from pump fuel.
I would rather keep the race fuel out, Not ruling it out though, i will think about that to.
There is 2 things that will not be changed. There will be no slicks, DOT tires only. And every car will make the drive or your times wont count. that is set in stone and will not change.

For example year before last in powerstreet most guys i know Chris spanmt and myself normally run in. I was on c16 and drag radials and a 10.7 won the class and it was a all motor car that was allowed slicks because it did'nt have a power adder and it made probably half of what most of the turbo cars made.. I know my car will trap atleast 135mph on pump probably 150ish on c16 now but i will get 0 traction on a radial till 4th gear thats why i run off the WG on the street 9psi and still spin like hell even in 4th, i can feel the tires lifting in 3rd at high rpms..
Honestly even if the imports are allowed c16 and slicks.. I still say the v8's win not many street hondas are gonna run anything more then a mid 10 to high 10 on a slick and c16 MOST OF THE RWD GUYS ARE RUNNING 10'S I'M SURE ON A RADIAL.
