Im down for it. Ive seen your car and its a nice piece. Slick on Slick so you can give me a good run? I dont want you to have any wheel hop or anything. I did have a breif Honda spell and know what it takes.

Im sure you dont even know since that ford speedo works so good with that GM trans, when is the last time you drove that car in the rain? how bout to church? out to dinner? When is the last time you drove that car to the track and raced it and drove home. I sure remember seeing it on the trailer. when have you ever seen my car on one? NEVER. That is the difference.

He has a high 8 sec car, sure its fast. but it is a streetable race car and i will not let it compete. More then welcome to come and hang out, run at the track. but his times wont count.

Well it should run some good numbers still working the bugs out. But it should be ready in the next couple of weeks.

Its called a Florida 5.0 Dash kit with a Autometer Speedo for my GM trans.

I drove it to VMP twice last year, Dairy Queen Cruise ins, and also drove it to the Richmond Dragway Street Fiighter night, won fastest car there, did a burnout contest and drove it home. Dinner many times, church no way im not into shaking the windows.

I trailer it because it can break at any time and I dont like to have to wait to be towed.

I have put more than 15k on it racing it for sure. Dont need to drive it around to prove its ready to play. I cant loose my license in my line of work.

Again, its not personal this was obivously geared towards calling someone out. I could care less but I can EASILY meet the rules.

I think we forgot the original purpose again.... The idea was to get all those guys you see on the streets regularly, the ones you want to run while you're running to the mall, to work, walmart, etc.... together and have a shootout, just as they are on the street... Most of the time while I'm out, i can't run because I've got my wife and 10 month old in the car with me.... Or it's my wife behind the wheel....

but whatever.... I'll check back when the date gets closer and see what this has turned into... maybe I'll still run, but it's looking pretty bleak right about now....

time will tell, But im not taking sides for no one. if Ramey cant run his car because its deemed not a street car, Richard is not running his. there in the same class of street car and its not what is going to compete in this race.

I'd like to see what the rules are looking at as of now just to get an idea as to if I even need to continue following this thread

Why not have 2 different classes? One true street and like a outlaw street?
