Cycle whore thread
Yeah, its a bit intimidating the 1st time on it. But I only fear 2 corners down there. The rest if I remember them I know how to hit em pretty good.
Its awesome in the summer, cause its cooler but still hot and make the tires sticky. Its a good plave to setup and tweak your suspension, because it has a little bit of every kind of surface. and of course the 1 I told you guys I topped out on.
too bad I couldn't mess with that one today

The only thing I'd say, is if cats know they have to work in the early afternoon, sandbanks isn't the place to ride to, it takes a while to get out there.
Maybe next time when its warmer and people have all day.
If I'm available, we'd show you all the quicker and more fun route there.
Last time I was down there was way early last year, in the spring I think.

Sounds like the ride was fun, I tried to catch it, but couldn't find you guys and then had the bubbleguts and had to TCB that situation.
Ended up in Pungo with a co-worker. We had a good time, but I definitely would like to tag along with the Wal-Mart group. I'd definitely have to be in the back to stay out of the way, but the roads sound like fun and from what I've heard a lot of experience in that group...would be nice to pick up some pointers.

'd when he tried to take off in 2nd.. then I just shook my head when he missed 2nd the second time around...Had my first tank slapper today, and can definitely say it was not a pleasant experience. -- It all happened so quick; one second the front end was getting light (used to that), next second my feet were off the pegs and I was squirrelly.. I'm really surprised I stayed as calm as I did, and rode it out.

I've never questioned the set up of my bike, but I might actually take it in to make sure it "is" set up correctly, or not completely off. -- Suggestions as to where?/rough estimate of cost? -- I know there's probably varying levels, track setup, etc. - Just looking to make sure it's relatively set up for my weight/riding style.
