hey guys, so i got this 2008 GSX-R 600 and im thinking about getting me a taylor made exhaust. one thats hidden under the under cowling i was wonderin do u kno if a 06/07 exhuast will slip on to an 08 i mean its the same fucking pipe, but the same exhuast for the 07 cost 680 and for a 08 cost 1,220 im doin a full system so its got me puzzled....

it might be different because they welded the pipe to the cat in the 08 and up models whereas the 06 and 07 can be taken off. so the pipes might connect at diff. lengths. call to find out.

however, i think taylor made are a big waste of money.

I had the taylor made and I loved it. It looked extremely clean, and sounded incredible. I got rid of it because Yosh came out with the full r55 for the 07's and I'm a sucker for Yoshi.

Don't listen to the whole waste of money thing. If you want it....get it. You won't be dissapointed.

the 06 07 taylormade will NOT fit on the 08 I had the taylormade on my 07 750 and sold it to a guy with an 08 and it didn't fit he had to modify it to make it work and it still wasn't.

The 06/07 taylormade is just a slip on. The 08 Taylormade is a full system. You would have to cut the cat and exhaust flap off, then rig up something to use the 06/07.

theres no way I would spend $1500 for 7hp thats just dumb!! there are way better systems out there.. the 07 system was built kinda of shady so I don't know how much I trust there craftsmanship !!! I would go with a more reputable company for that amount of $$$
