TD05s are kinda small, so they spool pretty quick actually. for my car, they're actually not all that desireable. they are internally gated, but i've seen a few people that removed the flap and widened the port to add an external. my car (stock) runs out of power around 5800 or so. i blame the shit stock cam (not made for higher revving) and the 7:1 compression. for a Honda app, i've heard they're pretty good. plus you could find em all over ebay. and plus you can find most of them with the original manifold, so getting a flange isn't that hard either.

Mine winds up full at about 3-3.5k rpm. Then the cam falls out around 5k or so. Modified to a external w.g., and a crappy MBC. A H22 isn't a prefered motor to F.I., it's just the valves.. they aren't all that strong for turbo/s.c. Honda motors are built for all motor from the factory, so some things are expected to be upgraded. The H23 on the other hand is a great subject to F.I. Iron block, AWS (Si), and just a relatively strong motor all around.. but I still won't own another Honda.
you need another pressure gauge for that MBC btw. next thing you know, you accidently turn it and you're running 30psi for about 5mins. then you'll have piston-sized speed holes in your block.

but its all good hope to have it running by sat so i can bring it out.....LATER
hmm.. TD05 runs 7 or 10psi stock (depending on whether it's intercooled or not). if it's off an Eclipse, then it's a TD05H. i'm not sure how similar they are to the TD05 (different exhaust housings), but i'm pretty sure it's about the same. as far as i know the TD05 housing is only on Starion/Conquests. TD05H is on DSMs. most likely what you have is a 14B, so you could potentially push prolly around 15psi before it's just blowing hot air.
