Help with my B16a
hey guy im new the the honda game
and i recently got a b16a block and i want to take it apart to clean it and maybe take it to a shop and i also want to replace some parts like pistons,all the seals i that need to be change water pump maybe the crank so i need help on how to take it apart is there a website that give me step by step ???
i heard a LS crank is better in my b16a is that true
please give me all advice you can on what to do with my block i dont want to turbo well not yet i just want a pretty fast DD

taking the motor apart is kinda straight forward go grab a helms or haynes repair manual and that will give you the pattern to loosen crank bolts etc etc also the torque specs and so forth. but when you take parts like the water pump and oil pump off stick them in a piece of cardboard so you know wich holes they came out of, a few of them are different size's. and as taking it to a shop call abacus and ask for shad.
the haynes manual your gonna want is gonna be for civic 92- 2000 and integra 94-01 its like 20 bucks
