+1... that shit probably worked great!

Someone on here used to be a BMW tech (or maybe it was Lexus) and posted a picture of a valve cover removed on an engine where a lady hadn't changed the oil in 30,000ish miles, she just kept adding oil. It looked like chocolate cake had been shoved all inside the motor; nothing like that black layer in the pics above.

I have seen engines like this twice.
Both times it was a case of overheating and the engine cooking the oil.

This is the same thing from my buddies at Eurosport in Norman, Oklahoma. They just worked on both of these cars earlier this month.

This is a motor with 185,000 miles on it that had regular oil changes every 3,000-5,000 miles:



And this is a motor with 61,000 miles that did not have its oil changed every 5,000 miles. Sludge city!
