If those coilovers hold up to the abuse that your typical VW owner put them through then I don't see a problem with them on a daily driven car.

I drive from Va Beach (rosemont exit) to Norfolk (chesapeake blvd exit) and back on the daily. 264 to 64. Highway sucks ass but yes my racelands have delt with the abuse just fine.

How is the ride quality of these coilovers? Granted, seeing as you are driving on 264... that in itself is shitty.

I mean its not at all the same as factory standards. Its a car lowered on coils. LOL its not great its not bad especially for the roads here. If the bumps and pot holes were eliminated from our highways these would be great but thats not the case.

I think that maybe you should just your wife some springs and call it a day.

Yeah I knew it wouldnt be the same as factory by any mean, I just know some companies springs rates are rediculous for the "out the door" coilovers.

It's a possibility. But I'd really like to get some wheels on the car.

Put springs on it and put wheels on it. Is it going to look as good as coilovers? Probably not, but I don't know how "into" cars your wife is. My wife probably wouldn't mind coilovers and hell, yours might not either, but I know a couple of guys that have modified their wife's/girlfriend's cars and all they did was bitch about the ride quality and/or fucked something up because it was "too low".
