Cycle whore thread
for sliders, i would advise one to get Woodcraft or Yoyodyne.
the shorter the slider the better.
the longer sliders, either snag on sh1t and bend and do frame damage, or they hitch during a slide and send the bike into a flip.
the fact is, most drops will result in bodywork damage, so theyre not really protecting plastics, they're main purpose it to keep hard parts off the ground. frame, case covers, controls.
So anything sticking out more than 2" id avoid. i have yoydynes, and tho theyre a tad long, they have a wide slider that actually slides really well. and can be converted to tie downs.
no cut sliders from what ive seen dont work, as the bracket that they mount to always tends to snap and puncture the case cover. busted or grinded case covers usually = not riding home.
busted plastics, = you ok? yesh? fukit lets go. vroom vroom.
just my $0.02

I still rode dat bitch home with one handle. That is twice i have had to do that. First time was when some bitch ran over my shit in the parking lot and broke my throttle clip on off... had to ride it home twisting the throttle against my leg.
Second time was when i clocked it and broked the clutch off.. rode home without a clutch and a hole in my butt... lol.
So... btw... i ment to ask.. i know this is my third post... but i keep thinking of stuff.. lol
I pulled apart my 04 R6 to put a power commander on it.. and I found that it has a RevTech Digital Fuel Optimizer on it.. I disconnected it.. but curious if anybody knows anything about them... I am probably going to just sell it.. but it looks like it is universal for any bike. I see that they are $180 new on Ebay.. and that some shops prefer them.. but was curious if anybody else knows anything about them.'

sounds like it does the same sh1t as a power commander. why would they have both on it?

sounds like junk really. just dump more fuel into the combusion chamber, yaaay..

There's a couple of basic differences between the Power Commander units and the DFO box," Mike said. The DFO unit is easy to install and inexpensive. It basically adds fuel to the mixture. The average guy can install this to a bike with basic modifications and tune it readily. It's designed for any builder who changes pipes, air cleaners or makes minor mods to his engine. It does not mess with the timing."
"The Power commander units modify the timing and will add or subtract fuel for heavier modified bikes and massive-inch engines. They are more costly and require more time, equipment and expertise to install. You must have a current dyno and an exhaust gas analyzer to set up a Power Commander properly, said Mike."
