Default H23A VS. H22A

Okay fellas so i need some opinions. Its either buy a jdm h22 n build the head or im looking in to the h23 blue top, and doing the same, building the head. If i order spring & retainers for a h22 will they fit the h23? please comment only if you actually know something about h series no like that kid that says oem h23vtec doesn't exist. I believe the Intake manifold is different and wont bolt up, correct me if im wrong please.

Hey wow look what I found on Google ("H23 valve springs")! Here are two out of the first three hits... People do make valvetrain parts for Honda engines, who knew?

Not to be rude, but I don't even have a clue what car that engine came from, but I just found valvetrain parts for it.

H22a H23a blocks are identical. The blue top is nothing more than a h23 bottom end with a h22 head. The only difference between the h22 and h23 blue top is the Crank has a longer stroke which hint hint make the motor a 2.3 liter. All bolt ons that fit an h22 will fit the H23 blue top

these 2 links are for a h23a1 which isnt the motor he is asking about

Got this off little bit of info on Wiki: In 1998 Honda produced a rare VTEC version of the H23 engine for use in Japan only. It is essentially an H23 block with an H22 head. The power is on par with a typical H22 engine but with a lower redline.

Specifications

* Bore × Stroke: {{

* 1998-2002 Accord Wagon AWD (CL2). It produces 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp) & 163 ft·lbf (221 N·m) and comes with a "blue top".
