Cycle whore thread
the tank is steel... it'll rust. If I had an aluminum wassel tank, I'd do it, but they can't be had for under a grand, IF you can find one. Besides, that's just TOO much bling for me.
I'm leaning towards a candy green metalflake with some patterns under the candy, like you see on OG lowriders and whatnot.
Yes, I know it's bad luck to ride a green motorcycle (probably why kawi's always crap transmissions), but it would fit the look of the bike, and I already own a candy green metalflake Biltwell.

another fork tube installed, new fork seals.. front and rear suspension set up to my weight, upper fairing sanded and primed(gotta go back and fill sum areas, but its down for now).
if you look at the brake side shot, you can see the controls I made, the shift side isn't on yet b/c I have to make a linkage.
but yeah, here's the pre-painted shots of my controls. I think I have MAYBE 20 bucks in these.

Qatar Official Test - Thursday 6PM update
The final pre-season MotoGP Test is underway in Qatar and after the opening hour and a half of day one it is reigning World Champion Valentino Rossi who has set the fastest time. The Italian, who has been quickest in the two 2010 Tests to date at Sepang, set a time of 1’56.773 as the action got underway at the Losail International Circuit.
2009 pole position holder and race winner Casey Stoner of the Ducati Marlboro team lapped at just 0.057s off Rossi, with LCR Honda rider Randy de Puniet followed by Loris Capirossi on the GSV-R of the Rizla Suzuki team. The veteran continues to find improving results from the new engine and was just three-tenths of a second off the lead time.
Ben Spies (Monster Yamaha Tech3) and Jorge Lorenzo (Fiat Yamaha) were the last two within a second of Rossi, with the remainder of the riders also getting the first feelings of their bikes at the Test.
