i am really considering get a 95-99 eclipse, what do you guys think about the engine/tranny, and etc. what should i look at in this particular car?

I think the engine/tranny is probably fine. It's all highway miles, afterall.

the guy said it's 170k on the body and 90k on the rebuilt. one of the valve leaks or something like that (how much will that cost to fix/replace? or would it be better to buy the car, then rebuilt the engine in the summer or something like replace worn parts/ put some mods maybe...

Valve leaks? Easy fix, 20 or 30 bucks. I'd say buy buy buy!!!

really considering it, it's a nice car, freshly painted nicest exhaust i've heard on a stock car

a dsm is for people with money or parents with money...

they have issues that are not as easy or cheap to fix as hondas...

stick with something easy if you plan on driving/beating the hell out of it...

most dsmers(if being truthful) will admit to this...
