The reason why they are in separate categories is because they are sister companies. If you want a euro, AWD, v10 supercar, buy a R8. If you go lambo your paying too much for the same essential 'car', plus you look like a douche. And I wouldnt really call it a detuned v10, it's only something like ~50 HP down from the LP560 IIRC. And what's 50hp when you have 500+ of them. And if your gonna spend the $ on a Lambo, at least get the right one, a LP640. But even then Lambo blows because if you want a v12 you should buy an Aston. Audi focuses on actual motorsport, while lambo just designs cars that will look good in blind-your-retina orange on 20" iForged shit. Also besides the reventon, Audi kills lambo in the looks department. Not to meantion Audi has THE dopest interiors.
But all this is a null point because if you want a supercar, you buy the only reasonable option. A Ferrari.

Sister companies that share many engines and other parts are in different "categories?" You serious? Many dope Audis produced today are cool because they're powered by detuned Lamborghini V10s, IMHO.
