Alright I took my valve cover off it wasn’t the rocker arm, so I proceeded to crank my car over at the ignition....my timing chain slaps my top guide and that’s were the noise is coming from put a new timing chain tensioner in a week ago when I first thought it was chain issue. I believe I have the correct timing and I followed all procedures they had online for timing, but idk what exactly to do. Any suggestions....I’m think it is a tooth or so off but idk.

timing chains stretch over time, just replacing a tensioner isnt going to fix a stretched chain

Yo should have 10 links in between the timing gears. The tenth link should line up with the exhaust cam.

Well I’m a link off then I’m on the 11th link so I’ll try that if it doesn’t solve that problem then I’m just going to replace the chain and guides since that is the only thing that might fix it. See at 1st I thought my tensorner failed and it jumped timing since it just randomly happened. Thanks everyone for the help I greatly appreciate the community thanks a lot

Danny to the rescue! See, now that's who I consider to be a Mr. Expert...Mr. Expert. I've got a spare SR MAF if yours turns out to be bad. I switched to a HKS VPC F-CON on my SR.
