Transmission sold
Hey guys,
I am selling an SR20DET with a T25 turbo and transmission, all from an S13.
The engine was imported and installed by custom-made motor and transmission mounts, but nothing else was hooked up.
The previous owner bought the motor from an engine import shop, and said that the engine has 28k miles and the transmission has 50k miles.
I got the butt end of the deal, when the previous owner claimed that I have EVERYTHING I need to make the engine run, but I'm missing quite a few parts...
What is included in sale:
-Engine
-Clutch and flywheel
-Engine harness (cut at the firewall with a bolt-cutter for engine importing)
-Stock ECU
-Turbo (T25)
-Two turbo manifolds
-Engine/transmission mating gasket
What it needs to finish your 240:
-Flywheel bolts (I have like 7 out of 8 or something like that, you should buy new ones anyway)
-Probably a complete engine harness would be good, if you're a noob on electricals
-Starter
-Intercooler and piping
I thought it would be super cool to throw this in one of my AE86s, but I decided to stay loyal and stick to Toyota parts (less parts storage and hunting if I stick to one manufacturer, heh.)
I have spent quite a bit of money on this whole motor deal, so I will undoubtedly be facing a loss, and I am not trying to make a profit at all. I do know that someone wants to drop this in their car and I prefer it that way, rather than having it sitting in storage and not being used. I'm looking to make a quick sale.
This engine has not sat outside exposed, it was imported to a shop, dropped in a car, then when the car sat outside, it always had a hood over the engine. This engine was never wired to the car to run.
I spun the crank and it spins pretty freely, it feels good. The throttle was plugged with a rag.
I took off the valve cover and took pics, so I hope this helps.

Also, forgot to note, it does come with a redtop valvecover, I managed to take a pic of the engine without it, heh. I removed it only to take pics of the internals.
