I can think of a few other engines that weigh significantly less than the miatas powerplant and make more power than the hayabusa setup. I will admit its a cool idea though.

Should have just added another four cylinders and gone with a Powertec V8. Or a Hartley. Either choice costs more than the Miata did when new, I know.
