B20b boost
So I have a B20b with a B16a head and stock LS tranny in my 91 CRX Si. I am about to take it into the shop and get the turbo put on. I will either be putting it on 6 or 8lbs. With this amount of boost can I just have the turbo out on and skip getting it tuned and remapped? This is my first boost project so sorry for the dumb questions im just trying to get all my info straight before continuing. Any other info that could be helpful is appreciated! Thanks

Do not boost your car unless you can afford to pay for a tune the same day. Take a word of advice and not have a blown up motor. That motor on 8lbs wouldn't even last a full 2-3 pulls un-tuned, let alone be any sort of reliable.
Get it tuned on 4-5lbs, get the kinks worked out(there will be kinks), and than go for a re-tune on 8lbs later once you can afford to get bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump. Stock stuff might hold up for like 4lbs, or it might it might not. Id get the 450cc injectors before the first tune. It will help the tuner, and you will have a smoother running car.
