Question about bike shitting off..
So the bike is an EN450... The battery died trying to start it.. I just cleaned the petcock (which are missing the little Screens on the top)... So, here's the deal... With the petcock in the "off" position the bikes runs and idles forever... Turn it to on and it shuts off within a minute... Like its getting too much fuel and its chocking.... Any ideas?

Re: Question about bike shitting off..
how long will it run turned to "off"? that tiny little motor doesn't use much gas idling, ever a float bowl full would probably keep it running for damn near 10 minutes at idle.
Sounds like it's probably got stuck/leaky float needles. when you turn the gas on, it's overflowing the float bowls and dumping raw gas into the cylinders. if you can pull the airbox off and look down the throat of the carbs with the petcock "on", see if you can see gas trickling out of the emulsion tube (the hole in the middle of the throat that the slide needle passes thru). If you can see ANY gas coming out of the tube, you have leaking float needles/seats.
