I'm seriously horrible. I can do anything other than that. I get going really fast......the catch an edge and eat shit

That's the problem I have. My hands and feet are always frozen. With enough layers, the rest of my body is fine. I've tried multiple pairs of socks with thick leather boots, 2 pairs of gloves, etc.

I think I am going to try snowboarding this year, if I can bear the cold long enough. Cold weather is the one thing I have a very hard time dealing with, although I don't mind riding my bike as long as it's high 40's or better

I would say as long as you have good gear you'll be fine... but I love the cold so I'm not gonna lie to you.
It's still fucking cold, good gear just means the difference between being miserable after an hour and being able to stay out all day.
