get a distributor schematic and match each wire to what it is used on the sohc harness and the si dizzy start there

Op,

you have a few options, but from looking at your posts it seems that the only quick option is to use the GSR distributor and buy a jumper harness to convert the connections allowing you to plug everything in. Now if you have the Y8 distributor you can pull both distributors apart and swap out the sensors to keep from cutting and splicing the wires.
