1978 Yamaha XS650 bobber project
PICS BELOW....
I need to sell my project that I have been working slowly on for some time now... Reality has a given me a swift kick to the balls and my new puppy needs spinal surgery, and since there is only one nuerosurgeon in the are the price is more then I was ready for so in turn all my toys and projects must go...
The donor bike was a running, completely stock '78 xs650 speical... clean title
I rode it around for 2 weeks making sure the engine was fine and all components were ok before I ripped it apart....
The frame is done. I used a TC bros hard tail weld on section. Also got a TC bros battery box and faux oil tank (for wires to hide). I wanted to run clip-ons so it has vortex clip-ons and comes with a Harley peanut tank. I know the engine is fine and all components that I was going to use from the donor were also working fine.
As it sits now, it's a roller with the engine mounted back in, really only needs a solid weekend's worth of work to get it running perfect.
I don't have a choice but to sell this, I am looking to get $2200 obo, and honestly I am no position financial to refuse any reasonable offers.
I know this thread is useless without pictures, but I will post them up as soon as I can borrow a camera that can post pictures online tonight.
