Default 1978 BMW R80....Tastefully Customized

The last bike I posted on here sold in one day. Hopefully Im that lucky this time.

I have a very short attention span when it comes to vehicles. It may be time to let this one go as the weather is getting colder and Im moving in a few weeks.

1978 BMW R80/7
97K miles
800CC boxer twin
Located in Virginia Beach
$3000

Runs and rides strong..ride it anywhere without reservation

original paint on tank and fenders....fairing and cowl are a close match

Comes with two up touring seat when you want to carry a passenger

Come with drag bars that fit poorly but work

Bike is fitted with cafe fairing and higher rise bars at this point.

Very unique style gets tons of attention

No problems with it but it does like a few minutes to warm up when cold.

Thanks for looking....Bill

And my crew

Wow. Gorgeous. I hate when people make these kinds of post (i.e. I have no intention of buying a motorcycle but just love what you have for sale), but I really like this one. GLWS.

Thanks....appreciate it. Here are 2 pics I snapped yesterday morning to list it on EBAY. There is a no reserve auction with a super low starting bid. Take advantage of my impulsivity.

I myself have 2 CB750's

do you per-chance accept souls or sexual favors?

UPDATE....I listed the bike on Ebay and it sold. Unfortunately for me, the winning bidder flaked out and I can't get ahold of him. I went through the runaround with the next few highest bidders. The bike is not sold and I really want it out of the garage. I'll take 2000 cash or a possible trade for a decent VW/audi daily driver. Thanks

well that's fuct. I'll keep watching this thread as that bike is tugging at my heartstrings.
Incidentally, would you perhaps be in the market for an 80's volvo? They're my new obsession and I'm going around scooping them up.
If you need a reliable DD, you can't beat an 80's volvo.

The older the better. I like the ones with circle lights and in the 2dr body. Probably late 70s. I agree, they're tanks and work well for daily drivers. I'd consider but you'd have to come up with a cool one
