Hey guys im about to order my wheels for my Z but... dont know what tires to run with.. ive herd ALOT of good things about the kumo mx's saying that they hook very well like the nitto 555's any ways how do you feel about , there ride quality,noise,traction,like or dislike?

I believe Cobra4B has them and used them at VIR.

 

I have the kumho mx's on my S-10. They handle and catch traction like a dream. I used to be able to smoke third gear, but now it simply barks. The handling is a force to reckon with. They aren't quite as good as the victorians, but they are much more streetable and the tread wear isn't bad at all either. You should be able to get around 50,000 miles on em if you're not to rough on em. I didn't notice anymore road noise than my supra 712's had, so can't really comment on that.

 

Very good tire. For the money, I don't think you can beat them. Oh, and Nitto

 

I've had MXs on the vette for a little over a year. Best tire I've tried so far.

 

my buds had them on his 87 vette since he bought it and we find that they dont like to be fucked with cold.

But once he losses traction a few times they are alot better.

Im talking just a little throttle from a start they chirp on ya on days that are in the 50's

just for your info. i didnt wreck it. some drunk fagget backed into it when it was parked and then took off. it just smashed in the front bumper and the radiator. so that means its probably totaled

and today was the first day i drove my car in the cold with the mx's and they deff. dont like the cold.i still recomend them though. best for the buck
