That car was almost totally destroyed in a bad accident, it's more or less falling apart.
This is why Mike did the "rusted look" bit, because his previously-nice E28 got totaled and it was either scrap the car or bring it back to life as some weird project. I'm amazed it's still on the road, actually.

I mean, after the initial wreck and rusting it was tolerable, but then he went superfuckingover-the-top and dropped a shitload of eyesore onto it... so much so that I don't even want to look at it
And it's not just that either. Stanceworks used to be an incredible site, on the leading edge of that scene. Now they're Burrough's dick-riders and every other post is that trainwreck on four wheels.
All in all, I think it's hideous, he should've stopped while he was ahead, he needs to retire it already.

I couldn't have said it any better about stanceworks, that site you used to be "the cream of the crop" as far as stanced cars, but lately it's been a bunch of faggots who think because mike burroughs can get away with an ugly piece of shit anyone can. Mike's E36 is fucking amazing though I won't even lie.
