Dope Status!!
For the apparent simplicity, dry sump systems have a lot of failure points. It's not really a "bolt on and forget" type of thing, and the pump selection and supporting component selection is critical. Doesn't give you a damn thing in return for all your hard work except for cavitation safety. We usually just do a windage tray and trapdoor baffle setup instead of doing a really thorough dry sump design, and we've only blown one engine so far (the oil plug popped out of the end of a cam and dropped oil pressure to near-zero). Actually, we blew another engine because it overheated toward the end and decided to push it to the limit. Finished the race but it seized during cool down. I forgot about that one.

is it just me or is the tach upside down? idk maybe the photos upside down or he drives from the roof. not sure tho but5 he might wanna get that fixed.
