i think i've decided to go with an 06 dodge ram 1500...

gonna do a leveling kit 3 inches up front and 2 in the rear....

gonna do some 35x1250x17's and some moto metal 951's

well, ive stripped and broken every brake line after the frame hard line. even the new $30 lines are broken.

 

Might want to go ahead and buy 2-3 transmissions along with your Ram...

 

Don't know much about Ram's, but those wheels are hideous.

On a side note, I failed inspection today...for brakes (which may be true, gonna look at 'em this weekend), wipers, which are brand new, and the third brake light, which the mechanic offered to put a new bulb in....I don't have a third brake light...

 

they love to lie. your brakes are prob fine considering the brake light issue. you actually dont have a 3rd light but they said it was burnt out? lololol



and foamy, get a ford or ill hate you.

 

the 4.7L is mainly transfer cases. not trannys.

the older ones were tranny's.

i dont mind the wheels.

and that sounds like some BS about your inspection.... did you get el cheapo wipers? because those can be bad..... also if you go muddin a lot those can fuck your wipers as well.

And a 2005 or newer f150 is still going for too much with low miles on it.

I'm only looking to spend around $13,000, I want below 100k miles and I want 4door 4wd.

Yea, I completely removed the whole third brake light set up, and he was like "Want me to change the bulb?"

I've never been muddin' and I almost only use Rain-X wipers. These things are literally two months old at most.
