I haz question for yall scooter folk...

what kind of helmet do you wear? full face or the 3/4ths type? i've only bought dirt bike helmets cause i've never ridden anything on the street. i'm afraid a full face would be overkill for a scooter, but i also plan on buying a motor cycle sometime in the future so it might be a good investment.

planning on taking a look at a little something this weekend...

 

I wear FULL because i have a pretty face and don't want it messed up.

PROS: Weather is NOT an issue, better protection, makes you look faster, fist fights aren't problem
CONS: You can't hear SHIT, a little on the hot side when sitting still, pricey by comparison, heavier, vision is reduced

 

I wear a dirt bike helmet.

It saved my life once already, so... I trust it...

I want to "upgrade" to a solid white dirt helmet soon... need to find one though.
