Nvm, reviews aren't very good on the shield. Found a high rated bluetooth system, now for a comfortable lid.....

The scala rider on the other hand... is detachable... so you can have 2 different helmets that can have the headset in it... and you can switch the bluetooth between whichever one you want to wear. It can also be taken off an charged and you can still wear your helmet. Can also be taken off when you go inside somewhere to eat or whatever and not have to worry about somebody stealing your bluetooth helmet. And last but not least... you can utilize the Nicer helmets like Arai and shoei with the scala. You can buy whatever helmet you want and simply switch the bluetooth to that helmet. Reguardless of reason why... if you change the color of your bike... you drop your helmet... wreck in your helmet... or the pads in your helmet are worn out. You can get rid of the helmet and keep the bluetooth for whatever helmet you buy next.
There is really only 1 con that I can think off with a scala or chatterbox... You do have something sticking off the side of your helmet. But it is small and you really dont notice it when riding at all.
I'm reading REALLY good things about the sena. Good battery/quality and it seems to be pairing with just about anything. It looks like it might be a tiny bit bulky bumping off the sides but I would daily ride with it, not track days so it shouldn't be an issue. The sena runs around 200 but has a really cool clamping mechanism, and is getting 5/5 ratings for tourer guys. How old is the scala or chatterbox ?
Also, do you think that vector is a good deal? I mean, 5 year warrenty, and its an arai.

I think both the products you chose are good. Arai makes good lids but I could never find one that fits (I got a big dome). I've used a chatterbox before and it's been around for a while so it's a good product. The new(er) compact version I haven't tried though.
