any1 deal with sbc motors???need gear drive timing set help

Default any1 deal with sbc motors???need gear drive timing set help

I can't get this thing right for shit.i kno yall deal wit import but maybe some1 kno some1 dats nice with the chevy motors..i got rhe timing marks perrfect but I can't get the dog bone to slide in right.if some1 wanna make some change holla at me.

If you have the timing marks correct and the dog bone won't fit, you might have the wrong timing gear set. Also, take a close look at the dogbone and make sure you have it turned the correct way, I know many of them (like the Edelbrock Accudrive) have one dog bone idler slightly larger than the other one. I'm not sure if they're all like that. Anyway, if it's an asymmetric idler setup, the large idler usually goes on the passenger side because that's where most of the drive torque goes. The smaller idler just keeps the other idler from un-meshing if the timing set gets turned backwards for whatever reason..



I'm all about surprising people tonight, because I know someone will say something. SBCs are just engines too..

i swear i got the wrong shit but summit swear i got the right 1.and im tired of adj. i will pay some1 to come and do it if they can it.if not imma run it to apple's.
