Angry need help with gsr brakes in fburg

Ran into a problem putting new rotors and pads on my eg hatch with gsr front brakes.. the rotors and pads are the right size but there is barely clear the caliper mount and when I turn them they rub against the mount.. is this typical and they just need to be broken in or does the gsr caliper mount usually have plenty of clearance?

Text me if you can 540 273 9476 and if someone in fburg wants to come take a look you can all help is appreciated thanks

No, calipers don't rub and need to be broken in.

This is the side effects of frankensteining without proper research.

it was corrosion and rust that were rubbing against the caliper mount so i took a flathead and wire brush to it and got most of it off

and i wasnt talking about the caliper rubbing its the mount that hovers over the rotor
